FUJI FLOAT aims at “removal of scum†and intends to produce novel machinery equipment of “the simplest and easy-operable construction,†designed on our philosophy “simple is bestâ€.
The system, which utilizes a drive source for an existing scraper, is of remarkable labor saving effect and of a fixed trough system quite different in idea from the conventional discharge method by use of rotary pipe. Such fixed trough system is desirably adjustable of trough width and gradient, thereby being superior in discharge capacity. The system is provided with the weir float in front of a fixed discharge trough and with the flexible rubber seal between the fixed discharge trough and the weir float. Usually, the utmost top of weir float is on the water surface and roller shoes enter to raise driving arm by the principle of lever and depress an operating arm and a connecting rod. Simultaneously, weir float sinks under the water surface, whereby scum is ideally discharged to the discharge trough.
At first, roller shoes attached to the fight contact with actuator plate to push it to up.
2 to 4 roller shoes can be attached to one round of flight.
Weir float is forcibly deeply depressed by the principle of lever around the hinge in as a first hump of the actuator plate is raised, so that large scum is drained into the trough.
When the roller shoes reach to a position between the hump of actuator plate, weir float is more shallowly de-pressed than when contacting with the first hump of the actuator plate, thereby scum being drained into the trough keeping a constant depth.
When the roller shoes reach a second hump of the actuator plate, the weir float is again largely depressed to drain large scum into the trough.
When the roller shoes leave the actuator plate, the weir float begins to collect scum floating on the water surface.
Until the next flight with roller shoes arrives, the weir float continues to collect scum floating on the water surface
Our system works inconnection with flight moving, but can be stopped by using simple clutch
